Steam Chamber (LLC) is comprised of multidisciplinary artist duo Daniel Ostrov and Stephanie Cole. After meeting in Philadelphia in 2011, the pair began working together, collaborating on several successful commissions and residencies, eventually forming an official partnership in 2015.

Stemming from the desire to create engaging works that inspire viewer participation, Ostrov and Cole specialize in public art installation as well as pieces for private collection. Their choice media includes wood, glass and varying accent materials. In recent years, their resulting works apply a wood working technique known as steam bending, whereby selected wood species are heated and contorted to form undulating structures.

Enhanced with intricately detailed moments, these forms capture movement while simultaneously captivating the viewer and transforming the surrounding space.
